More Information
Robert Palusky earned his M.F.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York. He has been a member of the faculty at Hamilton College, Clinton, New York since 1969. Palusky has mastered a number of glassmaking techniques, as have many glass artists trained in the 1960s and 70s. His mature work consists of sculptures often employing glass made in several ways and sometimes combined with other materials, particularly stone. Palusky's works of art can be seen in the permanent collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum, Ohio; Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York; Corning Museum of Glass, New York; Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
